This afternoon, my Granny (Nanay) and I went to ATC to unwind but unfortunately something
sudden came up and we had no choice but to leave 35 mins after we arrived there. Before we left,
I saw the poster of Vanilla Cupcake Bakery which is very popular on SNS nowadays.

My kind-hearted Granny gave me a chance to try them even though we were in a hurry!
As we went in, my face was like ":O" and I'm like "That chair is so whimsical!!!" Yes, I noticed
the whimsical chair first!Haha! Well what could I say about the interior? It's so quirky!
Just like my style! If we weren't in a hurry, I could stay there for over an hour!

I'm not a 100% cupcake fan. In fact, I'm very choosy when it comes to cupcakes. I prefer
something in between which is not too bland, not to sweet but definitely not something like
salted caramel. Odd aren't I? I want something moist, in between, creamy, and the filling must be spectacular.
I think ever changing flavors all in one is what I really want. That's kinda hard to find right?

Epic fail XD Overall Review The first thing that I noticed when I opened the box is the red velvet's frosting.
Why? It melted. As minutes passed by, the rest were melting too. I personally think that they should
improve these frosting considering that there might be families who'll
take those cupcakes out and not eat cupcakes in the store itself.

Honestly, I expected it to be moist and not too sweet but unfortunately, the cakes were not
moist but are dry. Nevertheless, despite its sweetness, I love how the frosting melts in your mouth
and somehow blend in with the cake itself. I swear it would be better if their cakes were moist!

Presentation: I'll give it 5/5| They're all adorbs!!
Money value: I'll give it 3/5| If the frosting does not melt easily and
the package spacing would be improved then I'd give it 5/5
Taste: I'll give it 3/5 | If the cakes were moist and
there were surprise fillings on all of the cupcakes then I'd give it 5/5
Interior: 4/5| I'd give it a perfect score if the ergonometrics of the space would be
thought about again.

CONCLUSION
It may not be the best cupcake bakery but then the place and interior itself
makes you want to comeback! It's a place where you and your family and friends would really
want to hang out. Maybe if I were with my friends/family and dined in there, then probably
my review would be very positive. Sometimes, food tastes better when you eat
with your loved ones.
P.S I ate most of them alone at home and my cousin came
hours after and told me that he really liked it.

He woke up in such a great mood until a bad news came up. He was preoccupied with it the whole
day that it became hard for us to celebrate with him. On the brighter side, he told us that he appreciated everything and drank with us til midnight! I could say that it was still pretty fun! And for the first time ever, I felt
that I chose the right gift! Cheers to that 'cause I'm really bad in choosing gifts! :<

As I have stated in my AME 1UP blog post, I don't wish to be just a fashion blogger but a whimsical fashion blogger. At long last, I had the chance to shoot a fairly whimsy look. This is not yet 100% whimsy due to the setting and lack of added quirky products but I guess it is fun enough. Is it?

I do not want to be defined in a solitary category.
This look can be whimsy, chic, serene, refined, and at the same time classy. Whimsical is something in which cannot be simply defined. When a look is whimsical, the more you gaze into it, the more interested you become. I know that I might not pull it off yet, but I will take things slowly until I finally create the look which is made just for me and for who I really am; because FASHION & STYLE IS WHO YOU ARE.

Now, let me write about the pieces in this look. The statement eye wear is actually created and designed by me. I used a simple eye wear base and baked polymer clay according to the theme that I wanted to portray. The style of this eyewear is called " Fairy Kei". I actually learned about this from a facebook page entitled Kultura Nippon. ♡ Fairy Kei is a street fashion in Japan wherein a variety of pastel colors is incorporated with laces, ruffles, skirts and everything in between. I actually find this fashion statement suitable for me and might try it soon. Moving on, I incorporated floral pastels on the eyewear together with a G-clef as the focal point. If I'd name this eyewear, I'll call it "A Fairy's Whisper" ♡ P.S. I also designed an exclusive Fairy Kei statement eyewear for Ms. Crissey Si called "Marshmallow Tears" Can't wait for her to wear it! By the way here's my craft online shop Spring Marionette♡ I love my dolly look here ^.^ Next is this super whimsical Alice in Wonderland tattoo stockings. As we all know, tattoo stockings are very trendy right now. Well of course I don't want any common tattoo stockings which can be seen in a lot of online shops. Good thing, Dorotee Sweetlips has unique tattoo stockings stocks ^.^ I love her Lolita collection too! They're to die for!!! As in! ♡ Another "I love my solemn look here" lol ^.^ Next up, these super cutesy whimsy patootie flats from Moderno Sense! I'm not really a fan of flats unless they're TOTALLY unique! Guess what? I got them for only P295! If you want super stylish shoes, then visit Moderno Sense. All of their shoes are very affordable as well! ♡ Last but not the least, not your usual ARM PARTY! I swear I love this specific combination. It's so fun to look at! Not too much, not too less, fun, unique, and HANDMADE. Craftydetails offers great variety of handmade products and I must say that they're really suitable for any style that you are after. Last Feb.23, 2013, I was invited by Ms. Justine Chantelle at the AME 1UP x Dorotee Sweetlips Lolita Fashion show. I arrived there at around 10am and was accompanied by Lex Gabriel. I was surprised how friendly and open she was to me! She informed me a lot about cosplay conventions as it was my first time attending one. She's actually a designer and is studying at Slims Fashion School. If you're looking for quality made to order cosplay apparels, please do contact her! Her works are very detailed and neat! Thanks again Lex for accompanying me and being my new friend! ♡ Another popular cosplayer friend that I have made is Belle Kasilag a.k.a Beru Kashigaru. Belle, Lex, and I strolled around to buy some food and drinks but what surprised me are the otakus/photographers who kept on asking us to take photos with them. I was tremendously taken aback and overwhelmed with these otakus/manga enthusiasts and I loved how they appreciate lolita fashion! Another thing which I noticed in this convention is that all of the people were superb friendly! I was indulged by this kind of carefree environment!

For some time I have been pursuing my passion as a fashion blogger but this specific event made me realize that I want a happy-go-lucky and friendly environment more. AME 1UP helped me realize that I don't want to be just a fashion blogger but a whimsical fashion blogger which will portray a carefree, quirky, out-of-the world fashion which will then be combined with k-pop, anime, manga, interiors, and many more. I want to be a blogger for who I really am, not following any shadows, and inspire people all over the unusual world.

DOROTEE SWEETLIPS LOLITA FASHION SHOW When the models have gathered, we did our make-ups individually and some helped each other as well. It took us hours or so! I actually had fun! The only thing I regret is I should've done a super light and natural dolly look make-up and wore a kawaii contact lens! Didn't I look like scary? Oh well! Lesson learned! Here are some of the photos from the show! I grabbed this pictures from justinechantelleblog.net Check out these awesome, kawaii, & lovely models! ♡ Again, I would like to thank Ms. Justine for inviting me to be one of her models. It was my pleasure as these designs are so elaborated and very pleasing to the eyes. The concepts on each design are very mysterious yet obscure which brings out its uniqueness among the usual lolita apparels. For exceptional Lolita Fashion, please shop at Dorotee Sweetlips! ♡ Personally, I think it was entertaining and energizing for the reason that the anime/manga enthusiast were very dynamic on every program! It made me feel thrilled as well! In terms of the cosplayers, one word: AMAZING! The cosplayers were the thing! I spotted some of them which I believe are commendable to compete in different countries! Someone please sponsor these cosplayers! They're worth it! Or should I say MORE THAN WORTH IT! Honestly, I haven't cosplayed yet. It's funny that whenever I'm wearing my usual fashion style, most of the people ask me "Do you cosplay?". Unfortunately, I haven't BUT I am always willing to try something new! I want to cosplay Kurapika, Gon, Killua and most especially HISOKA! Lol! I will blog about which characters I want to cosplay next time! Going back, overall the event was great for a first timer like me! I saw some of my high school friends too! Awesome event is awesome! The only thing is that during the Dorotee Sweetlips fashion show, the power went out + there were a lot of cosplayers who weren't able to go inside because of the crowd :s Regardless of that, I would rate the even 4/5! ;)

Whimsical Fashion When you type "Whimsical Fashion" on google, you will come across these pictures. What is Whimsical? Basically, when it comes to fashion, whimsical is something playful, out on a whim, bizarre, and freakish in a beautiful way. Whimsical fashion is something out of the box and original.♡
When I was an Interior Design student, while researching, I saw some whimsical interiors which were more than fascinating. From then on, I have been an avid fan of whimsical things whether it was the little things, interior, or fashion. Lately, I am having a style identity crisis. I've noticed in my looks at LB, everything is inconsistent. My styles didn't really have a sense of direction or a certain theme. Yesterday, March 1, I have realized that I actually forgot about my fondness of the whimsical world since I have been a bum for quite a time already. And so! I am having a fashion come back and will stick to VINTAGE WHIMSICAL as my official fashion style!♡
Come, and witness this peculiar world with me!♡ Sure you already have the whimsical pieces perfect for your fashion look BUT that doesn't mean that it is exactly the whimsical style that we're talking about. If you have already decided to be keen to this certain style then you must consider the location and be particularly creative about it.♡ Not all whimsical looks should be over the top, it could also become classy but you have to showcase a certain piece that is extremely out of the box like the head piece above. I would say that this style is more a combination of vintage,whimsical, and fierceness.♡ Who could be more whimsical than Alice in Wonderland's THE QUEEN OF HEARTS ? Actually, everything in this certain movie is predominantly bizarre! Since I already decided to be dedicated to whimsy fashion, I'll choose the "over the top whimsy fashion" like the world of Alice!♡

Whimsical Fashion Illustration Even in illustrations, I find these really attractive! What I love about everything that is whimsical is, the more you look at it, the more you become curious! And sometimes within, you'll feel that something about it is really fun! (Well, that is, in my case as a whimsy lover)♡ Vintage Fashion Another style that I would love to work on is "Vintage Fashion" combined with "Whimsical Fashion". Nowadays, vintage is translated into something modern yet still keeping the epoch of it. Modern Vintage is also a great style but for my case, I would like to be more of a "Vintage Whimsical" woman.♡ "VINTAGE WHIMSICAL" And so! The question is "Where could I purchase my beloved Vintage Whimsical Fashion?" Well, I've got 'em for you!
Although I'll only introduce these two stores, they almost have everything that is unique and vintage at the same time!

I actually answered a quiz last week about fashion style since I was having a major F crisis. Well as the picture above, it turned out to my liking except for the "Funky" part. What surprised me is that this sentence was so me! "You like to look pretty but want to be an individual, too" Meaning, I want something original yet fun! As it says, "Unlike the classic damsel in distress, you're independent and confident" <- This is the style that I want to portray combined with Vintage Whimsical!

Last Feb. 21, 2013, my granny asked me to accompany her at Bellevue for Gov. Rey's birthday party slash reunion slash ballroom dancing. lol. As expected, everything was just so classy and well executed! The party started with the "Fellowship" program wherein Rotarians introduce or socialize with one another. ♡ A lovely group photo of the birthday celebrant Governor Rey with Congressman Boyet de Leon and Fellow Rotarians♡
Of course, we didn't let the chance slip! I was STAR strucked! ♡ The band performed three sets of songs and surprisingly, the Rotarians danced 'em all!♡ It's really amazing how active they are in ballroom dancing! In the middle of everything, I was asked to dance ballroom as well and guess what? I didn't nail it! Well, it's a given for a beginner like me but I didn't go home just like that! I grooved it and had fun in the end! Thanks do the lovely DIs! *(Dance Instructor)♡ What's a party without labeled drinks? The fun's just gettin' started! I love these people! Youngster within!♡ Look at my granny groovin' and owning the dance floor! I'm so proud!♡
After attending this specific birthday party, I realized that our generation's party is suuuperr different. By different I mean, sadly, somewhat, somehow, our parties just have quite less "dance moves". Teenagers nowadays just "wave" or move inch by inch following the beat on the dance floor. I don't really think that's dancing but still nevertheless, it's always fun in the end!♡
Going back, overall, the party was just so AWESOME! I got to meet a lot of accomplished people and made me want to pursue my dreams and goals faster! My granny actually asked me to form a Rotaract(youth members) at Laguna, so if you're interested, message me! I know I should've chosen a darker color combination since it was a ballroom party and I'm meeting some people for the first time, I decided to show my personality in this outfit.♡ TWH-20| RHINESTONE COWBOY Last night, Feb 22, 2013, I called out my two closest not so biological brothers to have some quality time and sing Karaoke with me. We sang from 8pm-12am! So that's how singers feel when they're holding a concert lol (we're not that close enought though) :)) Nonetheless, I had fun! I'm not so sure about these two since I didn't grant their request when they wanted to drink! A promise is a promise! If you have read my first blog post for the year, I promised myself not to drink alcohol when there is no special event! lol ♡ For this look, since I was not going anywhere but the house, I plumped for an edgy look matched with the cowboy hat that I just randomly saw around the house.lol This is a very lazy lazy look and more like my usual mall look.
